The Matrix

Before you vote in the European Elections, there is one crucial thing you should know. As much as some of us may hate Jacqui Smith, the majority of the intrusions that she intends to force upon the private citizens of the UK are not her idea. Jacqui is merely a puppet of the European Union.

Tony Bunyan of Statewatch has been warning us for quite some time that our freedoms and liberty are at risk essentially from the EU and the British Government is just carrying out it’s orders. The idea that our politicians would argue the toss on our behalf is a fairytale, it’s just not going to happen! 

Try asking the party you intend to vote for what their proposals are for opting out of the European Surveillance State Project.

In his analysis of the “Future Group” proposals, put forward by the Portuguese Council, Tony Bunyan  goes a long way to explain why we are heading at  warp speed velocity towards a “Big Brother European State”. 

The Future Group’s proposals are to harness the “digital tsunami” of European Data and create the ultimate monster. Imagine, most of what we do is electronic, imagine each network being joined into one huge databank and every move, purchase or email you write is collated and assigned to your “unique” number. 

At the moment, they are working on how to make each countries system operate together on a common platform. Once they have established a way of doing that, we’re “plugged in”.

The EU surveillance state “Concept Paper” opens with this statement :

What this statement is actually saying is, that your privacy is secondary in importance to matters of security! 

GMES, Global Monitoring for Environment and Security, is an EU initiative for the implementation of information services dealing with the environment and security.It collects data from satellites observing the earth, collates and makes this data available to security and environmental services. The object is to anticipate, intervene and control.

This is “The Matrix” and as more and more people, machines and environments are connected to it, it’s meant to assist security organisations in fighting crime and terrorism.

One of the obvious uses is for it, is to be able to track the location of any mobile phone and this is just the beginning of their heinous plan. In the next few years, billions of items in the physical world will be connected using various technologies. We already have satellite, wifi and Bluetooth. In their world, these will all be connected to “The Matrix”.

It will enable them to track every man, woman and child through their mobiles, cars or even the clothes they are wearing (unless of course, we all get forced to have a chip implant). The proposal also discusses the use of biometrics and online behaviour. 

The Matrix will begin to collect data from you in regards to 

- credit, 

- debit purchases 

It will all tie in with monitoring of public places 

- airports, 

- train stations, 

- pubs, 

- amusement parks, 

- your place of work 

with CCTV using facial scan recognition software to track your every move. 

It is assuming that we will all be giving the state our biometric information (fingerprints, facial scans, iris scans and DNA). They will begin uploading and monitoring your movements on social networks like My Space, Facebook and Second Life. They will monitor your conversations on messenger and your utube videos.

Don’t be misguided, this is not technology from another century, the proposal suggests that the capacity to do all this exists. They intend to combine data from different sources on every individual  – 

- financial transactions, 

- train journeys, 

- visits to a town hall, 

- a fairground, 

- images from “searchable digital technologies”, 

- internet usage,

- social habits together with state records, 

- citizen registration, 

- National Insurance details, 

- schools, 

- universities, 

- criminal records, 

- tax record, 

- health record, 

- driving licence and motoring offences, 

- insurance details 

- and more which could be used to monitor and control social, economic and political life. 

The creation of a European surveillance state, for that is what is being proposed, will take the EU further down the road to authoritarianism, a path which looks less and less likely to be reversible.

Just remember, these are decisions that have been made FOR US, we have not been asked, consulted or given a vote on “The Matrix”.

Now is the time to put a stop to it, before its too late!
